David Evans
David has been working in software development and project management for over twenty years. His background is in developing, installing and supporting mission-critical systems for asset intensive industry. This means; oil refineries, goldmines, gas pipelines, power stations, hospitals, railways etc - the kind of thing you really don't want to get wrong!
He now brings that same rigour to Sumac, ensuring that our digital web production and online business development delivers the right thing in the right way at the right time.
He founded Sumac UK in 2004 with his brother Martyn. His vision for the company is to build an interesting, inspiring and rewarding place to work.
David has a degree in psychology. He holds practitioner certification in project management (PRINCE2) and is a chartered IT professional with membership of the British Computing Society and the Association of Professional Engineers Scientists and Managers Australia.
